Happy Halloween!

This is the Thursday Before Halloween at a church activity. We had a few contests and this was one of them... mummy wrap. Here's Ashley adding her creative touch on our mummy... a tie haha...

Here's quailman checking out our amazing mummy

And here he is all wrapped up. Can you see the eyes, smiley face and tie?? Haha I love our mummy. Oh and if your wondering why his head is like that it's because he's wearing a Nemo costume that goes over your head ha. One of the guys in our mummy wrapping group wore it as his costume and so we thought i'd be creative to wrap Nemo in there too... apparentley the judges didn't think so because we didn't win a prize... oh well it was fun =) Oh and that's Alex, my roommates cousin, in there... poor guy probably could barely breath. What a trooper haha!

Here are some pictures from Halloween night!

I of course had to make up a costume at the last second and after I had already started dressing up as a cowgirl I decided that an 80's girl would be much more fun. This is a horrible pic (I'm pretty sure my eyes are closed or somethin... my face looks pretty scary haha... happy halloween hehe) but it's the only one I got of a whole body shop. I'm wearing black spandex with a bright orange tangtop that's long enough to be a very short dress (perfect) then I'm borrowed some necklaces, bracelets, and earings from Jen and I put on a lot of make-up. I'm wearing big pink socks that are supposed to be like leg warmers and a sparkley purple sash. Jen and I ratted my hair a buch to make it big and messy. It was fun I like it =)

Here's Jen, Alex and I getting ready to go out for the night!

We were hungry so we went to Panda Express before going to a haunted house and party. Jen was eating her fortune cookie and she really look like a rabbit and it sounded like it. I thought it was hilarious so I video taped her. I'm easily entertained, what can I say. In the video there's Jen, Alex, and two of his friends Stephen and Clint

We were in Stephen's car on our way to the corn maze, perfect time to take pics ha

We found out that the corn maze was closed so we decided to check out the free haunted house BYU put on. Were running up a huge hill to get to campus and took pics as we were running. It was pretty funny and we were very winded after... very out of shape we are =)

Jen looks like a real rabbit haha

We made it to the top of the hill yay =)
What a cute bunny rabbit!

We're waiting in line for the free haunted house. The line was so long and we heard that it wasn't worth the wait so we ended up leaving to the party

Precious!

Here we are at the party

There were a lot of cool costumes, and some not so cool ones too of course... I didnt take any pics of those but I wish we had gotten a pic of one guy that was in a kissing booth. Jen and I kissed him because he asked us too and then we signed his box. It was pretty funny and don't worry we just kissed him on the cheek =)
There were these guys that people circled around and they did some break dancing. They were pretty good I loved watching them (black and some mexican and asians are so good at. I love it) Alex got in there and did some flips and stuff. They were actually impressed... we all were he's pretty good. My friend Whitney, who loves that stuff, would have loved it... they were pretty good =)
Alex washing his hands after doing some flips and stuff... it was raining some so the ground was a lil muddy and wet

So over all I had a lot of fun last night. The weather was so perfect for Halloween I couldn't ask for better and I had a lot of fun with everyone

BYU Game

There's only 1 more football game left in this season =( I can't believe how fast this semester is going by! It's kind of sad how fast life goes by, but all ya can do is try and enjoy every moment of it =)Today I got to watch the game with my little sisters, Lyndsey and Courtney; it was fun wathing with them. I love you guys!!! (BYU played UNLV and we won 42 to 35, it was an extremely close game... way too close). Lyndsey and Courtney got to go to the game for a young womens and young mens church activity. Luckily BYU won but it was a VERY close game and I've kind of been disappointed with how BYU has been playing the last few games, but I still love going!
This is very different from the seats I usually sit at
Here's Courtney, me, and Lyndsey

Courtney didn't want any pics taken of her, but we couldn't resist.... who could? She's so gorgeous!

Courtney is more decked out than me and I'm the one that goes to BYU haha

The sun was in the perfect place to blurr our pics so this is what most of them turned out like, but I still liked this pic.

Isn't Lyndsey so Beautiful?!

Cute lil duckies

So there's these ducks that hang out at my apartment complex. I went to feed them one day expecting them to run away but instead they walked towards me! They're not shy at all and I'm sure that's because they get fed a lot by all of us here at Raintree. Today I wanted to get some pics of them and show you guys because they're so cute! There used to be 5 of them but now there's only 3 so I hurried and got some pics of them before they all leave. I love watching them, they swim in the water or they just waddle around the complex. Almost everyday the past couple weeks they greet me in the morning or when I come home. I think they've learned that if they follow me around I'll give them food =)

Here they are. There was another boy and girl but I don't know where they went.

They're waiting for me to feed them

I wanted to get a picture of them closer to me but everytime they get close to get the food they'd take the bread and then quickly waddle away before we could get the pic

The girl in this pic on the left would not eat out of my hand at all. She would think about it but was too scared. The boy would eat out of my hand but would stretch his neck as far as he could to stay as far away as possible and get the bread

This little girl, on the other hand, was not scared really at all. She would not only eat out of my hand but almost climb on my lap to get a piece of bread haha. She's my favorite =) I left to get more bread and to show my roommate Ashley and when I came back I just called to them and there they come waddeling to me of course with this little girl leading. I kept calling to them and they even crossed the water to get to the other side where I was. They'll do anything for food haha. They're so cute I'm going to be sad when they leave...

The Weekend

So this last weekend I stayed home Friday night and studied and watched Ever After by myself haha (I absolutley LOVE that movie, it's probably my all time favorite). This is the second Friday I've stayed home studying in a row, gotta sacrafice for those grades =) At least I can say I've done something on Saturdays. Last Saturday I went with Cyrus (a guy I met during the summer) to get some apple cider later after the football game. He was telling how great the apple cider is at this place called Kneaders. So we went there and when he asked for 2 apple ciders the girl looked at him weird and was like uuuh we don't have apple cider here... we never do. He was so surprised and was like are you sure I swear it was here. The girl was just like I don't know but we don't have it now. He was like oh ok... do you guys have mint hot chocolate? She was like no we never do... haha I laughed so hard. So we ended up going to Starbucks and got some apple cider there. haha I gave him a hard time the whole night. When we got to my apartment my roommate Ashley was watching Charlie with her boyfriend so we joined. Cyrus ended up leaving before it was over... I guess he didn't want to see me cry ha ;) This Saturday I went out with Cyrus again to a haunted house called Scream Asylum. It was really good. I got scared a lot and when I didn't run ahead out of fright I hid behind him ha it was fun. After the haunted house we went back to my apartment I made some amazing brownies and he said he wanted to watch the rest of Charlie ha. So that's what we did and I think that's the first time I didn't cry... probably because he was making jokes the whole time. I had a fun night. So that's a little catch up. Other than that I'm studying or in class =)

Ariel's B-Day

Happy B-Day Ariel!

My roommates, Jen and Ashley (Ashley was the master-mind) made this cake for Ariel. It's AMAZING!

Ariel and her fabulous cake. Happy 20!

There's actually like 27 candles on the cake. We were just having fun putting candles on the cake so why would we stop at 20??
Here's all of us roommates (bottom left: me, Cindy, Jen, and Ashley. top left: Ariel and Nicole)and some guy friends. We're all doing the pass port picture (you can't show any teeth. funny story that happened to Jen) As you can see Jen did not follow the rules and smiled.... tisk tisk....
Now we can smile and sadly it's time to cut the cake... we seriously sat there for a while before cutting it because it was so pretty we didn't want to
This is after eating the cake. We tried to keep the front in tact. It looks like it's going to fall... Oh, can you see the marshmellows in the middle?? The bottom part of the cake caved in so Ashley and Jen thought of a brilliant way to feel it.... Marshmellows!!! haha it looks funny

After eating the yummy cake =)

Jen stuck a fork to keep it from falling ha

We had fun. Something must have been in that cake because we all just laughed at everything haha. It was a fun night!

BYU Homecoming!

This is our BYU Homecoming game vs. New Mexico last weekend. We won as usual ;) We have been doing so good until we lost this last weekend =( but oh well. Anyways this is one of my roommates, Ariel, we went to the game together. We're sitting at the 50 Yard line 4th row! They're amazing seats... AMAZING! My friend Adam is nice enough to let me sit with him every game =) I still have to develop my camera of the first game I went to this season. Anyways, this game was good but kinda boring. We beat New Mexico 21 to 3 but we definitely could have done better. Oh well at least we won... Woot woot!
Here are some pics of half time

Ariel and I

In the middle of the game. I love being this close. I can perfectly see everything that is happening in the game and the all the football players on the side line... I love it... They're gorgeous and muscular... what more can a girl ask for hehe

And here some of them are =)

We were very squished but at least it kept us warm =)

Little Leyna!

Camie periodically texts us videos of Leyna. Here are two of them! (sorry they're not the best quality because they're taken on a phone, but they're still cute!)
This one is about a month old but I think it is so cute! She's just jabbering away

This one is fairly recent (probably not even a week old), Leyna sits up now! She's almost 5 months old now. I can't believe how big she is getting!!

Camie, Juan, and little Leyna & Brooke, Eric, and Alaura are coming here for Thanksgiving. I can't wait. It feels like forever since I've seen them, I miss them all so much! (Especially my little nieces) I love you guys can't wait to see you next month!!!

Conference Weekend

Last weekend I went home to see my family. We watched Conference which was fabulous, spent some time together, and my mom, little brother, and little sister (Courtney) went to the only Sephora in Utah which is in Ogden. It's only like fifteen minutes away from where my family lives and it took us an hour and a half to get there! I wasn't sure where it was so we drove around for a looong time trying to find it. Finally we got good directions and found it. The only reason I wanted to go there is because I have gift certificates but they hadn't set it up for gift cards yet so I couldn't even use them... what a waste of driving around lol. I still got my make-up though and I guess you can say it was an adventure haha. My mom and I went to Olive Garden with my Grandma Matthews, aunt Brenda, aunt Becky, and one of my aunt-in-laws (however you say that... I don't know ha). That was way fun! I loved being with them and I loved my soup and salad! (that's all I ever get there. It's so yummy =) ) That night my Grandma Twede came over for dinner. It was fun eating with the family. Grammy brought pumpkin pie... yummmm!! It also rained a lot last weekend! These are some pictures we took later that night when the storm was gone. It was pretty chili!

Lyndsey took these pictures with her phone. Isn't it gorgeous?!

There was snow on the mountain tops. Very pretty!

Believe it or not, all that water is from the rain. This is the park behind my parent's backyard. There were some ducks and a whole bunch of seaguls enjying the temparary pond. There were also kids out earlier swimming in it. I don't know how because it was freezing! A few weeks ago it rained, but not quite as much, and filled it up quite a bit; there were kids swimming, out with rafts, and some boys skimming. It was pretty funny. It's crazy to think that all that water is from rain!

Courtney and I

Courtney, Lyndsey, and Caiden (he did not want to take any pictures haha but he loved being out in the water)

Silly faces!

Lyndsey, Caiden and I ( we couldn't get Caiden to look at the camera long enough. He really did not like any pictures being taken of him that night lol) Lyndsey, Caiden, and I ended up walking all the way accross the water and it went a couple inches past my knees. That's pretty deep considering it's from rain and it was probably about a foot deeper earlier that day.... Craziness!
