I got my MISSION CALL!!!!!

Ok so I didn't mention that I have been planning on serving a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints but I am!!! I felt that I needed to go when I watch General Conference last October but it took a lot of convincing because it was scary and I was not planning on serving a mission because I have been focused on school. I prayed and prayed and finally started my paper work when I came home from BYU in January. It took a while to get my medical and dental work done but I finally got it all done and turned in my papers. I recieved my call in the mail on Wed. March 18, 2009 which was two weeks after they were sent in. I was so nervous and had to wait the whole day for everyone to get together so I could read it to my family. It was quite hectic and I appologize to everyone that was there in person or on the phone for that. So I tried to download the video but we couldn't figure it out yet so I'll have to post it later =)

IM SO EXCITED!!!

We wrote down where everyone guessed I'd go, but nobody guessed right haha

And here's the my mission call!!! =)

I'm going to the California San Jose Spanish Speaking Mission!!! I leave to the MTC on June 3rd so it's coming soon!

So this Saturday a group of us went SKYDIVING! It was so fun!! Except that I threw up while in the air still haha but here are some cool pictures of my jump! I suggest it to anyone, unless you get sick easily in little planes...

They said there was going to be a 20 min senic view but I had no idea it was actually going to be pretty

I just saw Whitney jump out of the plane and I was getting so excited and nervous

Just to let you know that is not our parachute we use after falling. They have to use that little one to slow us down enough so its the same as the weight of only one person. When you don't tandem fly they don't use the little parachute because there's only the weight of one person, other wise if we didn't have it the weight of two people would make us fall way too fast

There we are coming down with the parachute out. I'm pretty sure I threw up about there haha. I don't know what happened I wasn't feeling sick until we were just hanging there which was a bummer because the ride was so cool and smooth. I think I got sick on the plane ride and I didn't have time to feel sick until we were just sitting there... and it really hit me

Can you see the throw up all down my arm and side?? Some of it got on one of Sugi's arms too... poor guy haha

I broke Sugi's streak of never having someone throw up on him the 10 years he's worked there haha. I love this picture, I'd be gagging if I was him too ha

Fun in Idaho...

My best friend goes to BYU Idaho and I went to visit her last weekend (March 20th) And just to warn you were very silly but we had fun... It's the way to be!

While in Idaho with Whit, I went to school with her, just hung out doing nothing really (which we are best at) and my last night there last Tuesday we took some pics of once again us doing nothing more than nonsense haha. Kayla, Whit, and I went out and took pics of us exploring

We planned on wearing all black and then Kayla suggested we draw warrior marks on our faces which turned into beards also haha. My name was Ricky, Kayla's name was... I can't remember but something French, and Whitney's name was Ali. So, as you can tell I'm from Puerto Rico, Kayla from France, and Whitney from Arabia

California

We all drove to Bakersfield, CA to see Camie and Brooke and their families. We left on Friday February 27th and drove back to Ut on Monday March 2nd. It was waaay too short but we had a really fun weekend being there. We got to see Sydney Brooke Olsen for the first time and she is soooo cute! She was born on January 16th so she was already a month and a half old when we finally got to see her but she was still little and she's such a little cuddle bug! Leyna and Alaura have gotten so big and they are cuter than ever. It was so nice to see everyone and ended too soon! Dad, Lyndsey, Courtney, Caiden and I left on Monday and mom stayed for another week with them. She got to go to Disneyland and spend a lot of time with them. We didn't take any pictures for some reason so I don't have any to post but Brooke and Camie took a lot =) We had so much fun and love and miss you guys!!!!!!
